New human study shows Xenadrine-NRG helps test group lose 4 times more body weight and 3 times more body fat!
Ronald Mendel
Twenty (20) overweight, but otherwise, healthy women (18) and men (2) were randomly assigned to supplement their diet with a placebo (a simple cellulose pill) or with new Xenadrine-NRG. Both groups followed a standardized diet provided by a registered dietitian that consisted of consuming approximately 10 kcals per pound of body weight per day, with a macronutrient profile of 40% carbohydrates, 30% protein and 30% fat. Both groups also took 2 or 3 tablets (depending on their body weight) of their respective supplement daily in the morning for a period of 4 weeks. Subjects selected for the study were currently involved in a supervised exercise program at a gym. To further minimize variables, test subjects were also required not to deviate from their current exercise program.
All subjects were then tested for changes in body weight, lean muscle mass and fat mass via dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry before and after the 4-week period. At each time point, a comprehensive clinical chemistry profile on serum and plasma was also taken of each test subject.
Significant results
For a research study, a value of p [less than or equal to]0.05 or lower means the results are statistically significant. In this study the p values surpassed this. The findings were as follows ... Subjects in the Xenadrine-NRG group lost 4 times more body weight (4.84 lbs; -2.7% from 80.85 [+ or -] 13.0 to 78.65 [+ or -] 13.0 kg; p<0.006) and 3 times more body fat (5.87 lbs; -7.2% from 37.04 [+ or -] 8.5 to 34.37 [+ or -] 7.9 kg; p<0.008) than the placebo group. (2) In other words, they lost 4 times more weight and 3 times more fat taking Xenadrine-NRG!* The corresponding weight loss also helped reduce total cholesterol and the trunk fat: limb fat ratio. Plus, all subjects taking either Xenadrine-NRG or the placebo experienced no changes in lean mass, blood sugar, blood urea nitrogen, creatinine, etc. So, in short, no adverse events or side effects were noted by any of the subjects during the course of the study.**
A very positive conclusion
The data indicates that taking Xenadrine-NRG, with a disciplined (but healthy and sensible) diet and maintaining a level of physical activity, is significantly superior to diet alone for enhancing short-term weight and fat loss. Plus, Xenadrine-NRG seems to have no adverse side effects when used as directed. Now, it's your turn to put it to the test and reach your personal fitness goals!
(1) 4-week, placebo-controlled, double blind study.
(2) The reason they lost more body fat than body weight is that they also gained some lean muscle at the same time.
