Need protein but can't stand protein shakes bad taste? Best protein shake inside

After trying over 50 brands of protein shakes, this protein is one of a kind that stands out above the crowd and is by far and away the most popular and best tasting protein shake on the market.Â* It also comes in more flavors than I've ever seen (see below).Â* I've seen them as cheap as $24 at Hi Health, or as cheap as $18.50 on the internet at places like www.massnutrition.com

No I don't work for them or get a commission, but I wanted to share one of the best kept secrets around.Â* You won't be disappointed.

I don't like what protein powder does when it comes out the other end. Usually like concrete.

I can't say at all that I've had that problem with this protein shake.

I know protein drinks are very popular now. Why can't we just eat high protein foods in order to get the same effect?

Hi,

You are very correct. Protein can be taken by eating healthy food.

You can, and in fact I recommend that....to some extent.

However, for those of us on the go like myself, they're great in the morning and at the office. Also, numerous studies show a benefit to taking in a good amount of protein right before and right after a weightlifting session....it's easy to transport a protein drink to gulp after a workout at the gym. It's a little harder to get that same protein with food.

The other thing to consider, is that it's easier to ingest say 200g of protein through shakes than it is food. A lot of food that is high in protein may also have carbs and/or fat. With a protein shake, you can keep the calories down by just taking in protein for the most part.

Can you give me an idea of how much protein is in one shake and how many calories. I want to check into this. I have experienced some hairloss and am trying my best to up my protein. I eat almonds every morning in my oatmeal and one chicken breast usually during the day. I also eat fish daily. You are right, sometimes it is difficult to get all the protein in.

Every shake is totally different. You'll have to read the nutritional labels of whatever you buy.

If you use water, on the low end you could be at about 20g of protein per scoop of protein, but on the high end with milk you could be at 35g of protein per scoop. The shakes I make are about 35g of protein per scoop because I use milk.

Almonds has some protein but not a ton....and unfortunately they're high in calories, so it's a very high calorie way of getting protein.

Have you tried Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey or Syntrax Nectar Whey?

Oh sweet!

I couldn't see the pics for some reason of the protein you were recommending in the OP.

But ya, ON 100% is the shit.

Syntrax Nectar flavors are mighty tasty too if you like that sort of thing.

As far as protein shake flavors that taste decent but are also are low calorie, I don't think it gets any better than ON.

Most PP I've used are about the same calories. But I would agree, it's been the best tasting to date for me. Well, tied with syntrax.
