Anyone have any good recipes for low calorie salad dressings? So far I haven't had too much luck finding any. Thanks!

Use a can of tuna or can of salmon and mix it in with the salad, protein and adds flavor, avoid the salad dressing. __________________

Low or no fat yogurt with lemon or vinegar and herbs 'n spices to your taste can be a dressing. You can also boil tomatoes with oregano, thyme, basil, rosemary or whatever until it thickens a little. Something like ketchup without the fat and salt of the readymade one.

I like the yogurt idea! I'm going to have to try that sometime. I also found this site online the other day that has some low cal recipes for dressings including dips. I haven't tried any of them though. Homemade Dressings & Dips, Low Fat, Low Calorie
they all sound pretty yummy to me, and they're all low calorie and low fat. I might have to try the homemade hummus

Making dressings is easy as pie... just use your favourite vinegar, a little bit of olive oil, and whatever spices you feel like. Adjust it as you go, and soon enough you'll have a new favourite dressing!
I usually just do a little bit of oil, lemon juice, paprika, red pepper flakes, and oregeno. But that's because I can't have vinegar.

I had another new low calorie dressing last night, 1 cup of no fat cottage cheese. __________________

Annie's makes a bunch of low cal dressings, they sell them at Trader Joes and Whole Foods, plus some other higher end grocery stores. There's some light Paul Newman Dressings, and I think most light dressings are going to be no more than 70 calories per serving, so not horrible.

Yeah, I use the Kraft Balsamic light - 25 cal per 2 tbsp. It's not bad.
