Angry Girl scout cookies now touted as zero trans fat, but they still have trans fats!

This is rediculous. They are selling cookies touted as having zero trans fat, but infact, they still have partially hydrogenated oil in the ingredients list. They just took enough of it out so that there is less than 1/2 gram per serving, which means they can list it as zero transfat under FDA rules.

Eat 6 servings of the cookies and you'll ingest at least a couple grams of trans fats, which is a good amount of trans fats.

There's still people who see zero transfats and think they're now healthy, when there is still a ton of sugar and saturated fat in them.

The FDA needs to change this. At least round up .4 grams of transfats to .5 grams instead of rounding down to zero.

You'd think anything girlscout related would be a little more honorable and not be misleading

I buy murray sugar free cookies at the grocery store sometimes. One kind is "fudge dipped mint"- which are a version of the thin mint girl scout cookies. They still have a decent amount of fat though, so they are probably only good for low carb dieting. At least they use splenda instead of aspartame.
