i just saw on tv on cnn headline news that a new study that came out from harvard showed that women who put on their doctor recommended weight gain during pregnancy were more likely to have children suffering from childhood obesity than women who gained less weight during pregnancy

I wonder if it is because the baby is getting too much in the way of nutrients or if it is more complex like genetics? My curiosity might make me look this up.
