| Updated pics of me as I turn 30 years old and new blog! Been off and on in the gym lately, and this week my eating habits suffered because I pulled 2 all nighters at work (ate 3 pizzas in one day), but overall I'm very happy where I'm at considering I turn 30 tomorrow. I'd like to shed a few more lbs. of fat and add a little muscle, but I'm very close to my goals. If I dedicate myself a little harder (more time in the gym) this can be a reality. I've only been going twice a week at most which just isn't enough.

No reason to diet, subscribe to food services, have surgery or take diet pills. Learn to eat right, count calories and exercise. If 400+lb people on Biggest Loser can do it, so can you!

| Re: Updated pics of me as I turn 30 years old and new blog! So right after I took these pictures I took 2 weekend vacations to San Diego and ate like crap. Didn't go to the gym for about 2 weeks, and I put on a few pounds from the pics you see above. Been trying to lose some of the weight lately.......
This past Wednesday- Salsa and Rumba Dancing (light for 45 minutes)
Thursday- Full upper body workout supersetting + 20 minutes HIIT
Friday- Full lower body, partial supersetting workout + 20 minutes HIIT
Saturday- Ran hard on the street for 20 minutes
Sunday- Day off
Monday (today)- Full abs workout supersetting, 20 minutes HIIT
I drank a ton all weekend, which didn't help matters. At least 1000 calories of alcohol this weekend.

Wednesday- Rumba Dancing for 45 minutes (very little activity)
Thursday- Salsa dancing for 45 minutes (broke a light sweat)
Overall I'm eating healthy but eating too much food right now.... I need to curtail my intake a bit. Started drinking more Coca Cola zero as of late.....I really should cut that out too.

I start kick-boxing next week! Woohoo!  A good friend of mine just finished the course and said it involves some of the hardest workouts she's ever done (and she's pretty buff.) They apparently force you to do the splits (with your legs going to the side, not in front/back) by the end of the month-long thing. Every day, they have to go as low as you can and then push you down even lower until you can't stand the pain any longer.

But man, the splits?!?!? OUCH!  I could never do those.  I'd tear 5 muscles.

Saturday was 1.5 hours of full upper body lifting and 20 minutes of HIIT, but then went out and drank  .....a lot 
Sunday was 20 minutes of light basketball followed up by 1 hour of lower body lifting.
Today (Monday) was 30 minutes of abs and 1.5 hours of full court basketball!  OMG I'm sooooo beat. Every muscle on my body aches, I have a huge unpopped blister on my big toe, and on that same toe where I have a bad injury, it hurts so much that I can barely walk. But I love it.  Just popped 4 advil.  I'm going to look like the biggest gimp tomorrow.
I've been eating very clean, so good there....and pounding protein.
