Stressed But I Dont Get It!!!!!

ok so its been just about 2 weeks since the start of my diet. im the same freaking wait as when i started, exercise i havent started im too busy going to physical therapy for a torn rotator cuff. i have changed my diet though, no more late night eating, trying to watch what i eat so on, but im the same weight...is it cause i always weigh myself at night?

THIS IS WHAT I DONT GET

ive gone down a pants size lol. my 40s that i just got over the summer are now roomy, im sitting here in a pair of 38s and i dont remember the last time i wore a 38 pant, they fit though, you know THEY FIT. they are NOT unconfortable infact im wearing them with a belt, not needed just for style.

ugh, i hate being fat its really killing me inside i think however i carry myself well...

Re: Stressed But I Dont Get It!!!!!

You may be the same weight, but you've been loosing inches since your pant size has changed, so don't get too discouraged.

You should take your measurements (or get a friend to do it for you) so that you can see your progress!

And no, you don't look huge! You look like a good looking, friendly, happy guy

You don't look huge at all, you are right you carry your weight very well. If you lost weight off your waist that means you are DEFINITELY heading in the right direction. Night time people tend to weigh more than first thing in the morning when they get up before breakfast. Weight can fluctuate a few pounds from day to day or even from morning to night. It depends on liquids/foods you've consumed, water you retain, bowel movements and more.

Scales are a good way to check progress, but the best ones are by doing hydrostatic body fat testing or by measuring your own body with a tape measure. Then again, you're wearing pants you haven't worn in how long? That in itself should tell you you're doing the right thing. Also, a lot of people take a few weeks before the weight starts coming off. Keep this up and I bet the numbers start to drop.

Remember, even though you are changing what times you are eating and eating healthier, if you're not eating a good amount less caloriewise, then you're not going to lose much if any weight.
