| Philhiro's Blog Hello all , ive been looking around the net trying to find where i should put my daily blog.... seems here would be the best the place , so here it goes
Tomorrow 10th March 2008, i will be come my new healthy eating and exercising lifestyle. Im currently 19 years old and weigh in at 195lbs or 13st 13lbs and want to get down to 140lbs or 10 stone.
To do this i aim to cut out all snacks / junk food and most alcohol and take up exercise and drinking more water.
Im really motivated about this and cant wait till i have to buy new clothes and hit my goal. I dont really have a date i want to hit it by , but have decided i will not go on holiday until i've hit it as a kind of motivational tool and im going to treat myself to something each 7lbs i lose.
I will keep you all posted
Official Start Weight: 13st 13lbs (195lbs)
Many Thanks

| Re: Philhiro's Blog Well here we are at the end of day 1 , i had some cereal for breakfast , a salad for lunch and a sandwich for dinner.... ok so it might not sound too healthy but its sooo much healthier than what i was on originally and ive drunk loads of water. Im feeling ok not eating junk food so far im not missing it like i thought i would and really not missing fizzy drinks.
I weighed myself this morning and i was 13st 10lb or 195lb , which is 3lbs lighter than yesterday but i imagine most of this was water as i didnt even start my diet until this morning...
Im really determined to do well , cheers guys

| Re: Philhiro's Blog Hi mate... well done so far but can l ask you how tall you are?
No doubt you have some weight to lose but you may well want to reconsider your desired weight there and/or the options you have. For example you are a young man and may want to build up your body a bit instead of just plain losing weight. Why don't you do a bit more research before commiting yourself to such a big drop down to ten stone? As l say knowing your height would be a good starting point to take this assessment from.
But of course at the end of the day it's completely up to you and good luck whatever you decide..

| Re: Philhiro's Blog just done your BMI (body mass index) calculation and your are currently 27.5... at 10 stone (140 lbs) you will be 20.1 ... Normal weight is a range between 18.5 and 24.9 but this only tells part of the story and you should really think about what sort of build you want...
Are you only dieting or are you going to do exercise too? and what do you want out of this apart from just losing weight?

| Re: Philhiro's Blog btw I'm 5'9" and know from experience that a good weight for me is around about 165 lbs. I am probably medium build but don't want to waste away to nothing and so l am doing a few weights as well to build up some muscle and generally tone up... all l am saying with you is for you to really think about where you'd like to be at the end... you can continue to lose weight forever and not be content with your body but if you know what you want then you are better placed to be able to plan to achieve it..
