Ok well it has been 2 weeks....

Ok well it has been 2 weeks....

I am 26 years old and have been really trying to lose at least 15 pounds. I would really like to lose more but fear that is not good for me. I am 5 feet tall and obviously from these pics don't have a huge amount to lose but still you can see that I have "extra" that is not needed. I am doing this for both myself and my husband.

When starting I was right around 136 pounds. I am hoping that the scale is right when it read 131 earlier this week.

Thanks! I'm struggling getting rid of those last few pounds though, I'm having a tough time finding time to up the exercise enough to get me there.

at 5 feet tall i cannot imagine anything over 100lbs would be unhealthy. good luck with your weight loss!

Doctors don't want you to be 115 lbs for a couple of reasons. First, they look at your height and weight in measuring BMI, and they don't want you to radically reduce your weight. Second, most physicians fear of eating disorders. Some of them believe that people might get preocupied with their weight and go in the opposite direction towards bulimia or anorexia. I see nothing wrong with being 115 lbs, but it needs to happen naturally through long process of supportive healthy living (mainly nutrition and exercise). What methods are you using to reduce those few little extras?

I am just reducing my calorie intake and exercising. I am trying to eat more protein and good carbs. But limit it all around. I have not had Burger King or anything like that for over 2 weeks.

I hope so. I think I can tell slightly. But not too sure. I need to try on a pair of pants that I normally don't wear and see how they fit. I am doing that today and I am pretty comfortable. When before I think they were slightly snug.

Well not sure but think my pooch on my tummy is slowly slimming down. I still have a bit of a gut....but now it does not seem to poke out as much.....this eating right better be working.

I hope so....cause I am not "enjoying" it. LOL
Well actually it is not that bad.....I find myself not craving anything anymore. Just hungry quicker. Like yesterday ate 2 pieces of whole wheat bread and within 2 hours tummy grumbling again. LOL
