| Maybe it's time I posted some progress pictures! Well, my biggest problem is getting time to go to the gym to exercise. I do eat insanely healthy when I have control over what I eat at home, however I travel 100% of the time on the road and frequently have to eat out with clients which makes things harder on me.
Here is a picture of me many months ago, probably weighing in close to 170lbs, and here is a picture of me more recently probably at 158lbs. My main changes were to try to cut down on my caloric intake and to up the exercise a bit. I was able to focus more on eating and exercise during a near 2 month vacation I took from work recently. What a difference that made! I need to stop traveling!

So what do you all think?

I'm not sure if I want to add much bulk. When I lift heavier weights I tend to find a way to injure myself .
Just to give you an idea where I am strengthwise while going through this cutting phase......(I am wrapping up a modified HST routine).....
Just this week for two sets each I was benching 225x5, incline dumbell 105x5, bicep curls 45x5, bent over barbell rows 145x5, dumbbell bent over rows 105x5, skull crushers 120x5, and I lay off shoulder presses (recovering from shoulder injury) but do barbell upright rows of 110x5.
Legs (keep in mind I have a repaired right knee from ACL and meniscus surgery, which gives me discomfort when squatting):
Squat- 255x5 (I could easily do 350+ for reps but my knee is buggin me), leg press 750ish lbs (I used 16 45lb plates) x5 reps, donkey calf machine 3 45lb plates (10 reps x 2 sets), etc......

I think I may have mentioned earlier that I used to do powerlifting competitions in high school (state champion in my weight class), and in college I got to the point where I could bench press double my weight and squat a little more than triple my weight. In college I was just about as wide as I am tall, which was more of a nuisance than anything.

A lot of neural adaptations. |
