| Lost half a stone! Resisted Malaysian cuisine ...
Yesterday I had a big challenge: went to lunch at a Malaysian restaurant with colleagues, and ordered simple vegetarian satay & HOLD the peanut sauce. Didn't touch rice! I love rice!
Finding a suitable meal in a restaurant where all the dishes are delicious and fatty was hard. Lunch was two skewers with tofu and several veges on a bed of mung bean sprouts, and I dipped the veges in plain soy sauce. I had a large low-carb beer. Total calories I estimate to have been 350 - in a restaurant!
The reward: hitting 7lb weight loss today. I still feel a bit funny about posting on an obesity forum when I only perceive myself as obese, when I'm not really, just a bit fat. But it is so hard to keep it up. I can't tell you how much I admire the folks here who have lost ten or even twenty times this amount. I'm already struggling ... but sticking to my regime!
