| Jamie's So called progess Hey Guys  Hope all is well with everyone. I am just posting this because im in a rut.  I have been binge eating for the past two days and have gained back a bit of weight. I was doing so well, but I ate to help the emotions I guess. I really want to stay on the program and loose the weight but I feel that I can't do it. Does anyone have any advice on how to stop those crazy cravings?

| Re: Jamie's So called progess I try to keep a lot of fruits and vegetables that I like available so when I feel that way, at least I'm mowing on the good stuff instead of Taco Bell. Don't give up. So you messed up for a couple of days... we've all done that before. It's no reason to stop. Recall the reasons you want to lose weight... they're worth fighting for, aren't they? You stumbled, but now you can get up and start walking again!

| Re: Jamie's So called progess I've been there before. Several times. What I do is drink a BIG glass of water then find something to distract me. Either get on here and blog it (it helps to put it in words and usually I can figure out why I'm wanting to munch) or do yard work or exercise or play a game with my kids. Just anything to get my mind off of food. But I also dont keep munchy easy foods in the house. Just about everything in the house I have to cook or its something I dont like that the kids and my BF do. Its easier not to munch or binge if you have to cook everything. Plus alot of times when you think you want to eat you really just need water. Sometimes thirst can be confused for hunger so I ALWAY have a BIG glass of water before I start munching. I drink the water then wait 20 min and alot of the time the urge to eat will just go away.

There's a great tips topic stickied to the top of that forum.
Or, I'll be in Toronto from June 10th to June 13th and will come whip you into shape.

You're doing just fine. I've learned it's entirely normal to have short periods of time where your eating habits tend to be more lenient then they should be! Just setup smalls goals that are just out of reach, not out of sight.

| Re: Jamie's So called progess hey everyone thanks for the help. Im back on track and near my goal..I might change my goal to another 10 pounds when I get to 160. I think 150 would be reasonable but I do not want to get discouraged so 160 should be fine for now!! I will take new pics at 175=)

Nice pictures also you don't look like you weigh that much at all.
