I feel great and have the sunset to prove it

Now I seem to have finally gotten over the unactivity in my thyroid and have started to lose weight in the last days. I also feel awesome, full of energy and not a grain of depression in sight. I see now that the last 2 months I was simply sick but kept on going on willpower, even when I had no energy and simply didnt feel right. I guess I have gone from the crack-wh...-with-a-weight-problem mode to the "big bubble of joy cheerleader". Wonder where I can find some pom-poms??

Yesterday I went to the capital to a very large shopping mall, and walked constantly for 4-5 hours, and I didnt walk slowly but very rapidly as I am used to do. I wasnt even out of breath the whole time, and my legs didnt ache, and I wasnt even that tired iin my legs when I came home. That is pretty amazing considering that I havent done any physical exercise except work the whole time in my weight loss process. My condition is simply amazing compared to just 8 months ago, and I think I have similar condition as I had when I was the most fit in my 20´s (didnt have a car, lived in a relative large town in Denmark and walked all the time to work, shops etc.) Either I am getting more motion in the pet shop then I think, or its all that vegetable eating giving me extra energy. Another explanation could be that I have kept the legs for the 400+ lbs but I wouldnt recommend becoming 400+ lbs as a method to build up leg muscle

Here is a picture of a handbag that just sat and waited for me in one store. I have been looking for a handbag that should be blue, not to hard, not to soft, in the right size and that is nice looking. To make this find even more awesome I got this one on sale for the 1/5 of the original price.

I also bought some old chairs from people. They arent high class antique, because I have 6 cats and if I had some really precious antique then it would be such a shame if they would damage it, by having those chairs I achieve the old look without the worry. The funny thing is that those two chairs came originally from the small town I live in, so I guess they have come back home. For those that dont know it then I own a house built in 1884, that used to be a bakery, very beautiful house. Here is a picture of one of the chair.

To finish things of in this post here are some pictures of the awesome sunset that was just happening an hour ago outside my house. Now its starting to turn to winter here in Iceland, and the sunset is a confirmation of that, because they are most beautiful in the fall.

Heidrun,

It's awesome to hear that you feel so much better! I got a special gift just for this occasion

It's amazing you are in as good of shape as you are considering how much time you took off from exercise and how sick you were, and how little you exercised before hand. Imagine if you actually exercised regularly! I hear Iceland is in need of 400m runners in the next Olympics :p

I bet your muscles are fairly strong from carrying around the extra weight. At this rate it'll feel like you are on the moon with zero gravity in no time

Good pick up on the chair, looks comfy! I'm sure your cats' claws will love it too

That sunset was very pretty, so once it goes down for good how long until it comes back up again? I can't believe winter is approaching already for you......it's still 40C+ where I live

Beautiful sunsets Heidrun, and good find on the handbag!

You mentioned you were not tired right away, but sometimes I feel sore the next day or two after the consistent exercise, did you get sore later on?

I think your change in diet has a big impact on your increase in energy. As the weight drops you will hopefully notice that your energy will continue to go up!
