ok i guess id better try doing one of these things up ..i see everyone else has one so here goes ...........
currently ive lost 7lbs i started my diet less than two weeks ago ..so far so good ... im not counting calories or doing any diet in particular just my own thing realy .. Basicly after having my three kids ive let myself go so to speak and well let the lbs creep up on me .it bothered me a few times ..each time enough to do something about it ..so here i am again !!BUT this time i want to stay healthy and keep my weight at a steady level . I dont get too much exercise in because im busy in the mornings with my kids & then in the afternoons i work ..but im very active while working so at least it something right .i do try sneak into the gym room at work and hop on the old bicycle thingy when i can . ANYWAYS what else ..... MY DIET well ive kept it strict enough .. for breakfast i normaly have low fat yoghurt with a handfull of special k mixed into it also a piece of fruit ..... lunch time id have salad with grilled chicken or turky breast and fresh veg (its always either chicken turky or fish) .. late afternoon i,ll have a fresh fruit shake that i make myself normaly banana , peach , cherries or grape !! that fills me up for the night ... on hungry days though i may nibble some turky qubes & thats it until next morning .
Ive cut out all fizzy drinks , sweets etc My body is starting to feel the better for it too ...i feel i have more energy too ..so yaaaaaaaaaaayyyy im on the way to a better me !!!! i will say one thing though i find im starting to hogg my scales its starting to be an obsession .how can i learn to WAIT for my weigh in day ??? any advice anyone ?
Thats it for now guys but i,ll keep a daily update ..thanks to anyone who checks it out . xx edel xx

I also have an issue with not weighing myself...I havent yet and idk how ive avoided it. It's driving me crazy. I guess I just hope to feel really good when Monday rolls around and I see that I have made improvements. I imagine that situation in my mind to stop me from weighing myself. It's good motivation for me...I love anticipating lol

wanting to stay healthy, is going to help you stay on track. i got disappointed today because i got on the scale before my weight day. i didn't loss any weight. so, now i'm going to wait for Monday to come around, thats the day i get weigh. i didn't like the feeling of being disappointed.

nes i also weighed myself when i got up (see what i mean i just cant resist myself ) !!! im supposed to weigh in on mondays .im gonna try sticking to that ..! this morning the scales hasnt budged a bit its stuck on 179lbs so no weight loss this week for me i feel very dissapointed ..i havnt altered my diet in any way at all ..so im feeling sorry for myself today ...unless between today and monday i loose anything we,ll see , i very much hope so even if its just one lb at least it would be something ..im gonna try extra hard for the remaining days before weigh in .xx

BIG TONY ........i wish i could be more like you being able to wait for weigh in ..i cant thats my problem im on the scales most days ..but today ive made a promise to myself NOT to weigh in before mondays !!! i hope i can stick to it ..i WANT to but i guess im just praying ive lost something every time i step on the scales lol !! wishful thinking huh !

sorry i made a mistake on my weight there in my post i said 179 i ment to say 174 (79kilos) ...it kind of drives me crazy ..my scales weighs in kilos and stones ..so i have to check out in lbs every time i loose lol.... so sorry about that folks .

you can do it edel, just try excerciseing instead of looking at the scale. that's what i'm going to try. i'm hoping for the scale to go down by Monday to. i think it will if i excercise more. i all ready eat my breakfast, cup of corn flacks, and a piece of toast. havn't excercise as of yet and it is 9:30 am. i fine it hard for me to get started. that is a big down fall for me.

Well so far today has gone good ..for breakfast i had yoghurt & handful of special k
lunch i had a bowel of slimline soup ( cream of pumpkin & mixed veg) .& small thin fillet of chicken & lots of water lol .... late afternoon i had another yoghurt , its 8pm now and im hungry soi m gonna have some fruit and that will be me until tomorrow ....
well see if i can hold off on the scales in the morning lol...

If you weigh every day or even every other day just remember even if the scale doesnt show any loss it also doesnt show any gain. Maintaining is as good as losing. Just work out a little harder the next week or so and you'll see the difference at the next weigh in.

thanks chrisydj your very right in what you say .... this morning i restrained myself away from the scales .. so thats a start !! ive decided im not weighing in this week until prob wednesday then the following week back to my normal day monday !!

today for breakfast im having a cupful of special k & thats it i dont feel hungry .

LAST NIGHT i had cereal before bed i was STARVING !!!!!! im so pissed off with myself SOMEONE give me a kick in the butt !!!!!!!! ID managed well all day ..it was my daughter who asked for a bowel before bed and well i got it for her but then she didnt want it so PIGGY here ate it !!!!!!!. this morning im not hungry so its almost 12 noon and i still havnt had a thing ......... OOH WELL .i guess we all have our off days .

don't beat yourself up. a bowl of cereal isn't that many cals., if it doesn't have sugar . i heard if you excercise before you eat in the morning it is better for your system. and the more water you drink the better off you are.

Thanks nes & twinkle ........ ive done well today ..had some potatoe & mixture of veg for lunch & ive jut had some fresh fruit smoothie .. (strawberries & pear ) i also got some exercise in today after work so yaay im feeling good ..my energy level is going up its amazing what cutting all the crap food can do for your body !!! i notice a lot of volume gone from my body esp those love handles i can see a huge difference ..its a pitty i didnt take before pics ..but i guess i can start now and post them every month to see my progress .

ok ive got my daughter to take pics of me this morning these are pics of me AFTER loosing 7lbs ..i dont have pics on my laptop from before the 7lbs loss ... but i,ll be updating on my progress in the coming weeks / months . THANKS FOR LOOKING !
