This is an attempt to motivate myself to hurry up and loose my last 8.5 lbs to reach my goal of loosing 50 lbs.

I haven't been to the gym in most likely 4 weeks now, and I'd like to set a goal to go at least three times a week.

My BMR is around 1465 cals/day. My goal in the past has been 1200 cals/day, and lately I've been aiming for 1000 cals/day to try and speed things up a little, but that's been a little difficult to do, so I'll see if I can shoot for somewhere between the two.

Today my morning weight was 138.5 lbs, and I consumed approx. 1203 calories.

As for exercise, I did not drag my lazy butt to the gym, but as I was feeling guilty about it after dinner, I did about 1.5 - 2 hours of housework (vacuuming, cleaning, dishes etc.), so I'd like to think I got a little exercise.

Will go to the gym tomorrow for sure.

As for an ending day for my goal, I've been loosing about 5 lbs per month for most of my weight loss journey, so we'll stick to that. That would put me at 130 lbs about November 20th-ish.

Can I change the title to "Audrey's Last 9.5 lbs Blog"?

I expected to put on a little weight after my weekend. I had ice cream and Subway on Sunday.

But I'm back on track.

For breakfast this morning I had:

3/4 cup Special K (Almonds and Vanilla) = 110 calories
1/2 cup Skim Milk = 45 calories
a multivitamin

I've packed a healthy lunch, and am sipping my water as I type.

I'll post again tonight after I've hit up the gym.

Audrey are you sure you're not way under your BMR+activity caloric intake requirements?
How much are you exercising every day? Is our job a sit around or are you active? You might find that eating 200 calories under your BMR + activity intake req's will help you drop these last few lbs. Also look at your fat intake and protein intake you really need to be watch your macro splits this close to hitting your goals.

I calculated my BMR using the forumla in the other thread, so I don't think I should be way off on it, I hope. Does that seem like an odd number for someone of my age, weight etc?

I don't have a job currently, but my school days are full of sitting around, except for lugging my bag between classes.

I think I'll have to make a better effort to break down what I'm eating during the day. I've only ever kept track of the number of calories, not where I'm getting them from.

My update!

I did go to the gym, did about 50 minutes of cardio, then abs and stretching. Burned 440 calories.

As for my calories today, I'm up to 865 for the day, which is way lower than I was shooting for.

Whoa! No biggy, you can always even things out the next day. Don't sweat it! Good job at the gym!

Morning!

I weighed myself this morning and I'm now at 139.0 lbs

I will try to even out my calories today from the ones I was missing yesterday, and I plan on going to the gym after school today, so I'll most likely post again tonight.

I'm going to make more of an effort to drink my water today, as yesterday I barely made it through two bottles (1 L). I hate having to pee all the time

You sound like me in the calorie department.

My after dinner/exercise update!

I went to the gym and burned 450 calories. I was way better with my calories today as well, I've eaten 1035 today. My fiance made healthy tacos for dinner tonight, they were awesome!

Well, I'm back up another half a lb this morning to 139.5

I've decided it's too depressing to weigh myself every morning, so I'm not going to again until Sunday morning, I'll still keep updating on my calories though.

I love eating special K in the morning. So yummy.

Weight fluxuates from day to day so yeah weighing every day might stress you out a bit!

Good evening.

I'm done eating for the day, so I figure it's time to post.

No gym today, but I'm going to see if I can dig out my pilates video to do at home tonight.

As for my calories, I'm up to 1080 for today, which is more around the goal I was shooting for.

I'm getting nervous about not weighing myself tomorrow morning. I've been weighing myself every morning since sometime in February. I asked my fiance to hide the scale since I know I'll want to tomorrow morning.

So I found the scale and weighed myself this morning (I couldn't help it!)

And I'm at: 137!

I was pretty excited.

I missed the gym the past two days, but I went this morning and burned just over 400 calories.

I was good yesterday too and I believe my count was just around 1000 calories.

I'll update again later tonight!

So that is 1.5lbs in 5 days? Not too shabby my dear, not bad at all! I knew you could get back on track!

Another little update:

I'm done eating for the evening, and strangely enough, have consumed exactly 1200 calories. Kinda weird how that worked out.

My gym is closed for the next two days for Thanksgiving, so I'll have to be extra careful with my calories since I won't be able to go. It's also been pretty cold and snowy lately, so I can't go for a run outside

Plus it's Thanksgiving this weekend, and I was talking to my mother tonight and she made cheesecake I must resist!!
