Smile An Irish Blog

28 January 2008.

Day one of the rest of my life and I have to say it was hard. VERY HARD. I decided that I have to do this. I cannot believe how big I am. I find it hard to play with my daughter, the dogs. I doubt that my husband finds me attractive and I always feel like shit, I have to buy cloths from a catalogue and worst of all I cannot get pregnant So good enough reason as any to loose this suitcase of weight that I am carring around

As I said today was difficult, but I had great intentions. I drank loads of water but the foods was just not filling me, But I will progress.

So todays breakdown:

WATER: 2 Liters
CALORIES: 1785

Not bad for day one. Kind of conforting to know that I can do it but I am hungrey now and I said that I would not let this diet get me hungrey but it is 20.48 and I am not eating now (water here I come)

But here is my great news. I has been about a year since I weighed myself so I thought I would be hitting 336lbs and I weighed myself today and I am only 283 (only !! yea right) many people would rather die than weigh 283 however at least I dont have to loose the 53lbs to get from 336 to 283 .

Well I will sign off for now.

Re: An Irish Blog

Just take it one day at a time. Actually, take it one meal at a time. You'll see that it will become easier with time...

29 January 2008

Well Day two - I am not too sure if this was any easier but we go through it. I have figured out my hard times i.e. lunch time I just want to keep eating and eating Cause I am used to having two sandwiches (which is 4 bread both toasted with cheese and ham maybe some mustard) and maybe a packet of 50g crisps as well. But today was different I had two slices of bread and once slice of cheese on it and that was it ... about 4.00 I got hungery and had an apple.

The second time is stright after my dinner. I had my dinner it was lovely filling and then I am used to eating biscutis or cakes. i had none today and felt godd about myself.

This is when it goty strange I did my workout DVD (kinda) and was hungrey so I had a slice of melon and an pear and I felt guilty, before i would have junk food and would not feel guilty and now fruit and guilt

Well Today's Breakdown

WATER: 2.25 Liters
CALORIES: 1668
Exercise Calories burned: 65

So today was better then yesterday there is 117 less on the calorie intake and I dont see how I could ever get this any lower. I though I was meant to only eat 1500. Can a person loose weight on 1600-1800?. I am looking forward to monday to see if I loose beacuse if I dont, well we will deal with that then

xx

Re: An Irish Blog

Some people can lose weight at 1600-1800 calories a day, some can't. Every person is different and there is no set calorie amount for everyone. That's why we help everyone here figure out how many calories a day they should try to eat on average in order to achieve your weight loss goals. It's a simple calculation that we run based off your age, sex, height, weight and activity level.
