I've done that before, many times. It's not easy but it does make a big difference. Some people drink diet sodas with 0 calories instead of dropping soda completely. The only negative is that studies have shown that the sweeteners used in diet Sodas can actually make you crave sweets even more than normal! Also, you can buy flavored bottled water, or get these little 5 calorie crystal lite packets that sweeten water if it helps.
