A few years ago, I went to my husband's family reunion. It was on that day that I met Andy, a distant cousin of his that I don't think my hubby knew until he met him that day. His mom told me he'd gotten a really great job up north and had been so busy with his work he couldn't come. Then last year, when he didn't show up again, his mom told us he had checked into some kind of bariatric facility and was trying to lose weight. I was really happy for him.
Yesterday, I found out that Andy had been losing quite a bit of weight, but wasn't really getting enough exercise, staying in bed alot. He died from pneumonia in June. Poor Andy.

Nice hearing from you Pharmgirl! I am very sorry for your loss.
It's too bad you didn't get a chance to spend more time with him. Times like this make me realize how important it is to treat every day like it's your last!
