I'm very depressed, because my weight keeps going up, and i feel so out of control. I am obese, and need help. I would need to lose over 100 lbs to be at my healthy weight. It seems so overwhelming. I am all set to start the atkins tomorrow. I know it will be really hard, but i want to break my sugar addiction, and so this is the only thing i can think of. I need to just start it... and not think too much about it. i hate any kind of physical activity, so i'm not looking forward to doing any of that. i feel soooooooooooooo depressed... and physically so tired...

It's good that you are looking to do something about this, if not for yourself, but for your kids as well. Now you say you are starting Atkins, do you actually have their program or were you just going to start eating Atkins type food? Getting rid of the sugar will make a HUGE difference in your weight loss efforts.

As much as you hate physical activity, it will really make a big difference in your weight loss efforts and should also boost your energy levels. Have you figured out what type of physical activity you want to get involved in?

We're all here for you to cheer you on, and if there is anything we can do for ya let us know! Welcome to the site!
