I am guessing they will pull the videotape to see if they refused the service or just asked her to "pull around" like they do for other special orders. (yes, before starting my weight loss, I was a special order person at BK and McD. I got pulled out of the queue plenty of times.)
A good lawyer (and after the "burned by coffee" lawsuit, Mickey D's has invested in a few I am sure) will be asking all of those questions. |
You'd be surprised with technology these days.
My understanding is that she drives with her legs. Seems doable. I have a buddy who is paralyzed from the waste down, and he has a long stick coming out from next to the steering wheel that controls the brake and gas....so he can drive with only two hands and no legs, so I don't see why the same couldn't be done with feet.
There is a company that makes a special car that can be driven with just feet. I think it costs $35,000 if I remember right.
