Absolutely nightmarish what some people can be capable of
I had a look around and various news reports allude to the possibility of it being a babysitter who actually did it. A version of the story from back in November:

The video link features a brief clip of the woman being interviewed 'days after the death', which seems a little bizarre. The theatrics seem to betray the way a normal person would behave in the aftermath of such a tragedy.
If she has admitted it at this point then she truly is insane. This kind of thing doesn't even compute for me.
