16 (1-inch) cubes low-carb cake (such as Pound Cake)
12 medium strawberries, hulled
2 kiwis, peeled and cut into bite-size pieces
8 ounces Atkins Endulge
Chocolate Candy Bar, chopped
2/3 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon cognac, brandy or rum
1. Place cake, strawberries and kiwis on a platter. In a
saucepan, combine chocolate and cream and cook over
medium-low heat, stirring, until chocolate has melted.
Stir in cognac and pour the mixture into a fondue pot set
over a low flame. Using fondue forks, spear fruit and
cake and dip into chocolate. (If the chocolate begins to
bubble, it is too hot; turn heat lower or extinguish flames
for a few minutes.)
It would be a shame to miss this luscious dessert fondue, so
replace kiwis with more strawberries for a treat that works for
those on phase 2.
