The HR department is offering Weight Watchers (TM) entry fees reimbursed to employees who lose 10 percent of their original weight, so I'm almost there. (It was a 13-week course for $150.)
As for "Healthy Habits," we discussed:
1) Avoiding pop of all kinds, because the food coloring used is said to pique one's appetitie.
2) Bring bottled water to work, keeping it cold in lunch bag or fridge. Add lemon or lime juice, if desired.
3) Buy sugar-free snacks that use Splenda (TM) instead of the chemical sweeteners. (Things I can't do without are cookies and popsicles.)
4) Use Splenda (TM) for baking, or with coffee or cereal, not chemical sweeteners.
5) Eat slowly and take smaller portions.
6) Exercise every day--even if only for a short time. (Whatever you enjoy doing, as long as it's aerobic in nature and makes you sweat after 10 minutes.)
7) Buy and use more fruit and vegetables every week.
