Welcome Daniel! The fact that you have an understanding about your weight and have identified some ways to help yourself lose weight already puts you ahead of the game! Glad you got some benefit from the tips thread.
The treadmill can be tough on some people's knees, are there elliptical machines available in Korea? They seem to be a lot easier on people's joints. Swimming and water walking can also be a good starting point to get you going, especially if you have body aches and pains from exercising normally. Swimming/pool exercises are one of the easiest forms of exercise on your body.
Exercise is very important however do not neglect your eating habits. Just curious, what do you eat/drink on a given day? I know nothing about Korean food
