I lost a few pounds through WW at Work over the last few months, and now we've started something new. We have formed a "Big Losers Club" of our own. We meet once a week and discuss weight loss tips, recipes, exercise ideas, etc. The company sprung for a scale, and we meet on our lunch hour.

Today is my turn to present something--it was kind of dumped on me at the last minute. So I need to bring up a stimulating topic. I am so reminded of when I was in high school, and I'd wait until the last minute to come up with a topic!

Anyway, it's nice to be part of the group....happy posting today!
Sorry I didn't see this sooner.....weight loss tips?

Eat very slowly- people eat so fast their brain can't keep up, and it doesn't tell your body you're full until after you're already full and have overstuffed yourself.
Exercise!
Count your calorie intake and make sure you consume less calories a day than you expend.
Exchange white breads for whole wheat breads
Make your own food at home to take to work or parties.
Use old pictures of you looking your worst as motivators....put them on your fridge to remind you what you used to look like or don't want to look like again.
Use hydrostatic bodyfat testing to truly see how much fat you lose, especially if you are building muscle through exercise/weight lifting.
Find a friend to lose weight with or exercise with. Humans are competitive by nature and you'll be able to push each other in the right direction.

Those are just a few, hope they help! Welcome to the site.
