The second day was pretty bad in the afternoon, and it felt like I lost some headway as far as being able to walk and stand up. The second night was great, I was actually able to sleep for almost 8 hours. This was after having been introduced to liquid Lortab elixir, lol. It seems to work better than the IV pain meds. Dr. Davis came back by this morning around 10 to sign my release papers and I was set free about 11:30.

No weight loss yet cause of swelling and IV fluids, but hopefully I'll see some progress soon. I'll keep posting updates. I have an appointment next Monday to meet with Dr. Davis at his office.
Congratulations about making it through and I am sorry to hear about the first few painful nights.

I cannot imagine you could lose weight so quickly, however I am sure it will start very soon. I've taken lortab before and it is effective to say the least. What else did they try giving you? What were you given to take at home? Other than pain any other side effects? Looking forward to more updates!
