I had started my journey waiting for WLS on July 24,2004 and I finally had my day on March 7, 2007. The waits are long here in Canada because we don't have to pay for RNY out of our pockets.
In July 2004 I weighed in at 310lbs, The day of my surgery I was 295lbs and as of today I am 230lbs.
It is definately a good feeling after surgery is done, and I could be apart of the active world again.
