Hi Lisa. I'm glad you decided to give Obesity Discussion another try. I feel free to say what is on my mind, and hope you will too. I have never had a tummy tuck, but I have had 3 C-sections so I think I know what you will feel post tummy tuck surgery. Yes it will be painful, but you should discuss pain control with your doctor ahead of time. They have pain pumps which allow you to press a button that causes the release of pain medication as you feel you need it. It won't allow you to overdose. The pain isn't gone, but the meds make it very tolerable. You will do fine. After what you have already been through, this will be a gift to yourself. Positive thinking is key to how you will handle the surgery. Best of luck! |
