Curves is circuit training - a half hour of machines alternated with aerobic exercise. They're hydraulic machines, so as I understand it, since you push and pull on the hydraulic things, you work both sets of muscle groups simultaneously, and you don't have to stop and adjust machines or anything. It moves so quickly, it's over before you know it, and everyone's just so friendly. I never thought I'd enjoy working out before, but I really have liked it there.

It really does me good to see everyone's "tickers" - it's so awesome to see that people are making real progress! Gives me the feeling that I can do it too.
Curves is great! Welcome! New marraige to a supporting man, new job, and good motivation to better yourself; you are quite a few steps ahead of the game! You're going to do a great job of losing weight I am sure of it!
