Do you have any idea how many calories a day you are consuming? hmmm i dont know ......1500 calories a day? i know they says its better to eat 6 small meals a day but i dont do that i probably eat dinner some times lunch if i get around to it... Could you post some examples of what you eat in a given day and when you eat it (include condements/toppings/etc) Oh god thats a hard one.... well today all i had to eat a 2 pieces of teriyaki chicker at 130 calories a piece and i didnt have any sides with it..... yesterday i had a hoagie at 290 calories with pizza sauce and provalone cheese on it and no sides.... How much sleep do you get in a day? 7~9 hours Although you are always on your feet, how much actual exercise do you get in a given day? hmmm well i dont know how much i walk a day like 10 hours of it.... and i know thats a problem i dont like do sit ups or any thing because i never have the time and i know i need to make time.... but other wise then walking all day i guess another reason i dont do it is cause my hubby will joke about me lookin weird doin it.... i do want to get one of those little things to see how much i walk in a day's time.... and we always use the steps instead of taking the elevator and stuff.... every step counts =) |
I would absolutely get a second opinion on the thyroid, as an underactive thyroid could be the main culprit to your weight gain. That could be all the difference right there. I would look into that as soon as you can.
Keep an eye out for any rapid weight gain with this new drug you are taking, as that is one of the potential side effects. Were you taking anything else before that? Maybe one of the other drugs you have taken recently could have caused some of the weight gain.
Is there any way you could actually write down the food and calories you are consuming throughout an entire day? Do that for a few days and we can help narrow down exactly how much you are intaking, and we can help set you up with an eating plan to help you achieve your goals. If you are eating 1500 calories a day, then you should be losing weight, so something else is the culprit, and we'll have to narrow that down.
