Re: Just a newbie

What medicines are you taking?i was just put on Metformin for my PCOS 3 days ago.... Metformin is a diabetes drug but is used for PCOS aswell.... i dont take another thing else.

Have you had your thyroid checked?
i had it checked when i was a teenager and they said it was underactive? and then i had it rechecked when i was pregnant and they it was fine.... but im going to have it rechecked to see what it is while not pregnant...

Do you have any idea how many calories a day you are consuming?
hmmm i dont know ......1500 calories a day? i know they says its better to eat 6 small meals a day but i dont do that i probably eat dinner some times lunch if i get around to it...

Could you post some examples of what you eat in a given day and when you eat it (include condements/toppings/etc) Oh god thats a hard one.... well today all i had to eat a 2 pieces of teriyaki chicker at 130 calories a piece and i didnt have any sides with it..... yesterday i had a hoagie at 290 calories with pizza sauce and provalone cheese on it and no sides....

How much sleep do you get in a day? 7~9 hours

Although you are always on your feet, how much actual exercise do you get in a given day?
hmmm well i dont know how much i walk a day like 10 hours of it.... and i know thats a problem i dont like do sit ups or any thing because i never have the time and i know i need to make time.... but other wise then walking all day i guess another reason i dont do it is cause my hubby will joke about me lookin weird doin it.... i do want to get one of those little things to see how much i walk in a day's time.... and we always use the steps instead of taking the elevator and stuff.... every step counts =)
