Obesity caused by under-sleeping AND over-sleeping

Obesity caused by under-sleeping AND over-sleeping

Yes that's right! We always tout 8 hours as that magical number, and yes it's very true! Canadian Scientists determined that sleeping only 5 to 6 hours makes you 69% more likely to becoming obese, while sleeping 9 to 10 hours increases your risk of becoming obese by 38%! Why you ask?!?! Sleep releases a hormone that suppresses your appetite. Sleep to little and you'll be hungry. On the flip side, over-sleeping means you'll burn less calories in a day since you're sleeping and not moving about.
