| Re: I am new & had a lap band done You don't have to go to the gym, just do basic movements around the house, walking lunges, leg raises, bicycle crunches, crunches etc. The key is don't sit on the couch and "graze", stay busy, drink TONS of water to give you a full feeling and keep your mind off food.
