Protein sparing diet, i.e. very very low calorie intake while still consuming a decent amount of protein I take it? My daily food plan is 12-13 oz of meat and 2 Vegie servings. Broken down to 4 oz of lean meat 3 times a day with the vegies at any time. I have to drink 64 oz of fluids as well. NO Sugars and NO Breads. This is to be done along with taking Potassium, Calcium, a Mutlivitamin, Magnesium and the Sodium (salt is to be taken in @ 1/4 tsp per meal or 3 bouillon cubes; due to the lose of sodium during Ketosis).
For a treat, I can have 1 sugar free popsicle or 1/2 cup of sugar free gelatin (2 grms of Carbs)
To "enhance" the flavor of meals, they gave me a combo of Herbs to create a shaker:

- 1 1/2 tsp sage
- 3 tsp thyme
- 3 tsp marjoram
- 1 1/2 tsp rosemary
I started this morning!!! YEAH!
