I am sorry but I have seen the proof myself, the original 88lbs I lost was literally just melting off. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I started eating carbs again..because the doctor said to. And the result was that my blood sugar was bottoming out. It was literally dropping into the 20's and on average ran in the 40's, when it should have been in the 90's(during pregnancy). They sent me to a nutritionist who tried to put me on a high carb diet. As soon as I stopped listening to all of them and went back on the lower carb (still eating some carbs for baby) my sugar stabilized. It just annoys me, I am no just an average low carber, I have a condition which requires tthat I eat this way. And why would one nutritionist know this and not the other... Don't they all go to school and learn the same things, I think they base it all on opinions. |
Unfortunately, some doctors act as if the same program works for everyone. People need to pay attention to their bodies, try different things, and work with their doctors to figure out what is best for them. Good thing you paid attention to what was going on with you.
