Tips to eating well even in the worst of situations, social gatherings!

Diet is half the battle in losing weight, so for the times when trouble is near, take heed to these tips:

1. Know exactly how much you are going to eat ahead of time and stick to your guns!
2. You only need a couple bites of hi calorie super sweet food to get the full taste and satisfaction.
3. Eat as many high in fiber, foods first because they help slow digestion. Think fruits, veggies, and whole grains.
4. Don't just eat your run of the mill junk food if/when you do splurge, try something new, and make it healthy!
5. Wolf down the protein to reduce hunger the most! Think meats, seafood, tofu, etc...and the leaner the better!
6. Don't eat for the sake of eating. If you aren't hungry, then stop. Self control!
