| Re: Trials and tribulations of a middle aged fat man Be careful about eating carbs like spaghetti so late at night (9:30pm), your body has a tougher time processing carbs into energy after about 7pm or so, and they're more likely to be converted into fat.
You're definitely on the right track though, and eating slower is a great idea. That's one reason the French stay so thin is because they eat so slow.
