For those that aren't familiar, Google has a ranking system from 0-10 on a 10 pt scale that they use to let people know how important the deem a site to be. For example, Google.com is a 10/10. Excite.com is an 8/10. Pepsi.com is a 6/10. Georgebush.com is a 4/10.

Obesity Discussion just got bumped from a 1/10 to a 3/10. Google updates their rankings about 2-3 times a year. A very good start for such a young website. The rankings factor in thinks like links to the website from other websites, how long the site has been around, the site's authority on keywords, popularity of the site, trustworthiness of the site, etc.

Thanks to all the members for helping to make this site one of the top authorities on Obesity on the web!
