September Walk From Obesity has special meaning for one Frankfort woman

FRANKFORT - Two years ago, Rosalie Gibbs of Frankfort, underwent bariatric surgery for obesity. At four feet, 11 inches, she weighed over 250 pounds. Today, she is half that weight and a size six.
Rosalie will celebrate the anniversary of her surgery participating in the Walk From Obesity, sponsored by the American Society for Bariatric Surgery (ASBS) and Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare (FSLHC.)
The walk will takae place on Saturday, September 30. It is a one to three mile walk on the Mohawk Valley Community College Campus.
Registration for the walk begins at 8 a.m. It costs $25 and includes a T-shirt. The walk starts at 10 a.m.
