Re: Fast Food sucks!!

Best of luck in your transformation. I had very similar feelings when I was overweight. I think it's more important to realize, especially in the beginning when you are first trying to change your habits, that its not necessarily what you eat that you should be focusing on right now, but how much.

It's almost impossible to quit any addiction "cold turkey." I think you have a higher chance of being successful if you don't try to disrupt what your body is used to overnight. Just eat LESS of what you are used to and MORE healthy stuff as time goes on. Habit change is easier when you don't shock yourself.

Also, I see so many people fail because they're constantly beating themselves up and making themselves feel bad about everything. You have to get your mind and body working together with a positive outlook. If you have an uncontrollable craving for fast food, at least get the kids' meal and a dry salad on the side, instead of the mega-jumbo-super-duper-heart-attack size, and make sure you get a little bit of extra exercise. Learn to enjoy breathing and being outside moving around.

You have everything you need right there in your head to be successful. Good luck
