Tbh I think the only thing to do if you really want to lose the weight is stay strong and avoid fast food altogether- the way I look at it is, once you've lost the weight you're going to stick to your new healthy way of eating so best cut out the crappy stuff and learn to live without it from early on. If my husband goes to a fast food joint ( he is one of those annoying people who can eat what he likes and stay slim because of the amount of exercise he has always done), I then go to the supermarket and get myself some salad stuff and maybe some fish or cheese or something to go with it. I make it a real fun experience by picking out stuff and then making it all up at home - it feels so much better knowing I made the effort to do that rather than get tempted by the fast food xxx
