In England at the moment fruit and veg are cheaper than they have been as most supermarkets are cutting the prices to encourage people to eat more healthily. I know strawberries are good for weightloss, fish ( non oily of course) is also good as well as lean chicken. I think you have to be prepared to spend what it takes to eat healthily rather than using it as an excuse to not buy healthy foods. Shop around too - sometimes you will need to go to a couple of shops to find what you are looking for xxxx
