| Re: New to all of this! Thank you!!! I pretty much changed everything. I cut out using oil (frying), butter, cheese (used a ton of that). I am calorie counting for sure. I'm keeping it under 1500 calories a day. 3 meals a day, because that's what my livelihood allows. Lots of meals that are high in protein to keep me from wanting to take a bite out of my arm (Special K with Protein/ Skim Milk; 2 slices of whole wheat with turkey; boneless marinated chicken breast with a baked potato; Strawberries for desert ). I'm an extremely picky eater (why I was overweight in the first place) who does not eat any veggies and most fruits. So I had to put together a meal plan that limited in calories and fat. The good news is, I don't like any carbonated drinks (all I have ever drank was water). For exercise I've been doing 15 min's of the Elliptical (worked myself up from 4 min's), and bench press/lap pull down every other day with some light dumbbell exercises. I definitely got into the routine, it's a matter of not breaking it now.
