| Re: is it a good idea for teens the Gastric surgery? I tell you what, do these 3 things for 7 days making sure to weigh yourself day one and day 7. We'll start easy.
1. Drink nothing but water for the next 7 days, no milk, no tea, no coffee, no diet soda. Drink at least 1 gallon a day.
2. Food:
No "packaged" food, no chips, no frozen dinners, no fast food if it has a chemical or dye listed in the package ingredient then you can't eat it Instead replace with any of the following:
Omelet with say 6 to 10 egg whites and 1 whole egg and some no fat cheddar cheese No fat cottage cheese
Salads (no more than 1 tablespoon of dressing)
Tuna fish
Salmon
Broccoli
Chicken breasts
Turkey breasts
Any vegetables
You can not have more than one serving of the following per day(each replaces the other):
2 slices of bread (preferably whole wheat bread)
1/2 cup oatmeal (not the sugar packages, the old school oatmeal)
1 potato (I would prefer you eat a yam but a very small white potato will work)
3. Walk at least 30 minutes a day every day.
