I fully agree with you, it's not your fault, or for that matter, any ones fault for being over weight; you're fighting evolution after all. Take a look back a few years when humans didn't rely on our current self-prevalence and lived off the land: because food sources with saturated fats, salt and the like were hard to find and rare we had/have an increased craving for them in order to force us to go the extra effort to find these food sources, because the right amounts of them are essential. Now, that worked all well and right back then, but when culture and society brought the food to us, it just really fucked things up.

Does it really make sense that your cravings would lead you to endanger your life..? I don't see any obese animals in nature; it's a man-made problem that requires a man-made solution.

You may feel swayed by harsh words such as

Instead of starting that process, start the process of counting calories, eating right and working out. If my father who is 63 can do it, you can too...
but perhaps whoever wrote this doesn't realise that different people lose weight in different ways; perhaps his 63 year old father has a higher metabolic rate than you, there are also many diseases out there that can make it difficult for an individual to lose weight.

Just because somebody else can lose weight more easily than you doesn't give them the right to be insulting or demeaning towards you. You've clearly tried losing weight the old fashioned way and it hasn't helped. Talk to your doctor and ask him if getting surgery is suitable for you.
