Re: newly discovered foods

I should look into the buffalo meat. I have had it before, but it was ages ago.

I like to make fried rice with brown rice. If you rinse the rice before you cook it, and then let it set in the fridge overnight, it makes great fried rice with veggies in it.

I also like to make mexican pizzas. I make dough with whole wheat flour, and ground turkey with taco seasonings in it is very tasty. Then you can pile it high with veggies and a bit of lowfat cheese.

I havent ever been a big veggie eater, and I am finding new ways to make them taste better. I used to eat sweet potatoes with lots of brown sugar and butter mixed in with it. Instead of sugar and butter, I now use just a little bit of olive oil, and a packet of onion soup mix. Sweet potatoes and squash and zucchini...lots of veggies are good that way! Just mix the soup mix with the olive oil, coat the veggies and bake till tender. Gets rid of the sugar, and makes the hard to like veggies easier for me to like.

I hope these things will give some others ideas for new meals.
