| Re: Need Your Insight and Help Well see the problem is they are going on diets. Diets do not work long term. People go go on diets and eat less and healthier for a few months...they lose the weight and then go back to eating the way they did before, the same way they did when they became overweight....the way that caused them to be overweight...if you want to lose weight and keep it off you have to make life changes...changes that you stick to and keep for the rest of your life....like eating healthy food and less foods not over eating and exercise be active if you are able...."Diets" fail because they are a short-term fix not a long-term change
