I don't really want to eat a lot of bread type foods because I am a bread-a-holic, so I'm trying to stay away from it. Thanks, Laurie
Mike eats less fat percentagewise than most people......so if Mike eats 20 fewer grams of fat in a given day (that's 180 calories), he can afford to eat 45 more grams of protein (also 180 calories) without any calorie penalty.

Also, Mike is eating a shade under 2000 calories in his example.....now he's a big guy, so 2000 calories for him is the equivalent of say 1400 calories for me. Lastly, he exercises like a mad man and probably burns at least 600-1000 calories a day from that.

At the end of the day his body is using more calories for energy than he's putting into his system.
