Y'know what? I don't think age has anything to do with losing weight. Can you imagine calling Jack LaLanne "old?" He'd holler! Anyway, just make up your mind to do it, and...watch the movie "Castaways," with Tom Hanks. I'm serious. It's a fabulous study of losing weight, especially if you know that...they filmed it backwards. He gained the weight on purpose, and they shot the first scenes with him out of shape, lumpy, and overweight. During the shoot, he actually lost the weight -- did the huge physical exertion, taught himself how to catch his own fish, find his own firewood, etc. Watch that movie, really, I think it would help. Then start with the diet & exercise, and be dogged about it, persistent.
