It's not a bad idea to delete bread, all of it, from your diet. Because... all carbs, even "good ones," metabolize into sugar. "Good carbs" take 40-45 minutes longer to metabolize, but in the liver (our bodies' metabolic Houston Control) they become sugar anyway. Some of that sugar is used for fuel, depending on your activity level. EXCESS sugar (including former carbs) become fat... and go straight to belly fat, the worst place to have fat.
So... no loss if you skip bread altogether. We get so many good carbs from the fruits & veggies we eat. Although some fruits are high in sugar, so go easy on those too.
I do love rye bread with caraway seeds, so sometimes I'll have a couple of slices (190 calories) as a special treat. But only sometimes.
